The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is set to make a stop at bestbet Jacksonville, one of Florida’s premier card rooms, later this month. The RGPS Golden Expedition will run from Oct. 21 through Nov. 1, offering 11 ring events across ten days of action.
The series opens with a $200 Ladies No-Limit Hold’em event on Oct. 21. A day later, the $400 PokerNews PowerStack begins with two starting flights, adding two more each subsequent day before concluding on Oct. 25. That tournament carries a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Variety is a hallmark of the RGPS schedule, with mixed-game options such as the $300 Big O/8 event on Oct. 26 and the $300 Double Board PLO/NLH event on Oct. 27 catering to non-hold’em specialists. A $100 Flip and Go tournament will also run daily throughout the series.
The centerpiece of the stop is the $1,200 RGPS Main Event, guaranteeing at least $300,000 in prize money. Starting Oct. 29, the event will feature three Day 1 flights — Day 1a on Oct. 29, Day 1b on Oct. 30, and Day 1c on Oct. 31 — before all surviving players combine for the final push to a champion on Nov. 1.
Numerous satellites will also be held at bestbet Jacksonville in the lead-up to the Main Event, giving players additional chances to qualify.
PokerNews will provide live reporting throughout the Main Event, covering the action from the first starting flight through the eventual conclusion on Nov. 1.
