PokerNews and 888 are once again teaming up to host the PokerNews Online Championship, a ten-day festival running from October 18 to October 27, 2026. The series features 40 tournaments with combined guarantees exceeding $780,000.
Buy-ins span a wide range, from $8.80 up to $525, catering to both recreational grinders and higher-stakes regulars. The schedule mixes traditional freezeouts, deep-stacked formats, progressive knockouts, and mystery bounty tournaments.
Three events run each day from Monday to Saturday, while Sundays ramp up significantly with 13 tournaments scheduled, carrying the series’ largest guarantees. The opening weekend highlight is the $109 Mystery Opening Event on October 18, which guarantees $80,000 and offers satellite entries starting at just $0.10.
Unusually, the series will crown two separate Main Event champions. The Mystery Mini Main, event No. 35, runs across multiple Day 1 flights beginning October 18, with a $25 buy-in and $50,000 guarantee, concluding with Day 2 on October 26 at 9:30 p.m. GMT.
The bigger-ticket Mystery Bounty Main Event carries a $250 buy-in and a $250,000 guarantee, with Day 1 flights starting October 11 and continuing through October 26, when Day 2 play begins. That stage will conclude once eight players remain.
Those eight finalists will return to the felt on October 27 at 7:00 p.m. GMT to determine the Mystery Bounty Main Event champion, with the action broadcast live on the 888poker Twitch channel. New players signing up through PokerNews links can also access 888’s best available regional welcome bonus.
