Poker player and social media influencer Lynne Ji was arrested on Oct. 10 in Los Angeles following an alleged stabbing incident tied to a domestic dispute. She was booked into Los Angeles County Jail on a $1 million bond and released the next day, Oct. 11.
The alleged victim is Kevin “KGAO” Gao, Ji’s significant other, who has appeared multiple times on Hustler Casino Live. Photos circulated on X showing Gao in a hospital bed with visible deep cuts on his arm, though he reportedly appeared to be in stable condition.
Specific details of the alleged incident have not been released publicly. Ji addressed the accusations in a brief statement posted on social media Friday, writing that she fully denies all charges and intends to clear her name in court.
Ji is known in the poker community for her appearances on televised shows including Poker After Dark and Hustler Casino Live. She has also competed in multiple World Series of Poker events, telling PokerNews in a 2021 interview that she first played in a WSOP event in 2017 while still underage.
During Season 8 of High Stakes Poker in 2021, Ji appeared in four episodes and lost more than $300,000 combined, though she later recorded a $165,000 win during a 2023 livestream of the show. Her most recent Hustler Casino Live appearance was in April 2026, a session that also featured C Ye, a player recently involved in a separate dispute with HCL regular Britney Jing.
PokerNews has contacted the LAPD for further information but has not yet received a response. Ji declined to provide additional comment when asked.
