Germany’s Nicolas Bokowski has claimed the 2026 European Mixed Poker Championship (EMPC) Player of the Series title following a strong showing across the 12-event festival at Olybet Poker’s Olympic Park Casino in Tallinn. He finished ahead of England’s Seun Oluwole and fellow German Philipp Krieger in the final standings.
Bokowski recorded five cashes during the series, accumulating 809.5 points. His results included a win in the €300 Nordic Special Mix, where he defeated Slovenia’s Blaz Žerjav heads-up for €6,150, and a runner-up finish in the €1,500 S.O.R.B.E.T. High Roller after a lengthy battle with eventual champion Patrick Stacey.
Oluwole finished second overall with 702 points after reaching three final tables, including a third-place finish in the Main Event worth €10,930. Krieger completed the podium, climbing from 19th to third after winning the closing event, the €200 Omaha Dealer’s Choice, for €3,004.
The festival drew 856 total entries and generated €371,070 in combined prize pools across its 12 tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from €200 to €1,500.
The largest individual payday came in the €800 8-Game Main Event, where Finland’s Tapani Pulkkinen defeated Denmark’s Christian Elgstrøm heads-up to win €22,250 from a 146-entry field. Pulkkinen credited his success to strong play in Pot-Limit Omaha, which proved decisive on the final hand.
Defending champion Žerjav, who won both the Main Event and Player of the Series in 2025, was eliminated in 22nd place by Oluwole, narrowly missing the money this year.
