Jurojin Poker, a third-party software provider for online poker players, has released a detailed statement following revelations of a cheating scandal that exposed hole cards to an attacker. The scandal was first brought to light by cybersecurity researcher known on X as @wolfsec0x0, who uses the handle “Wolf.”

According to Jurojin, roughly 30 high-stakes players were targeted between June 2025 and June 2026, with the company privately notifying all affected users by email. Jurojin provides tools such as table management, hotkeys, bet sizing aids, and overlays designed to help multitabling players operate more efficiently.

The company’s investigation found that an attacker intermittently replaced legitimate software update packages with tampered versions containing a remote-access tool, allowing them to view the screens of selected opponents. Jurojin described the incident as a deliberate, manually executed operation rather than an automated or widespread breach.

Jurojin noted that it was not alone in being targeted, as the same actor also compromised IntuitiveTables and ran phishing sites posing as poker rooms and other poker software brands.

Before the breach was discovered, Jurojin had already begun rotating encryption keys between its app and servers, a move the company says unintentionally helped limit further exploitation. Since confirming the attack, additional safeguards have been introduced, including restricted access to configuration settings, full download logging, and multi-factor authentication for sensitive server actions.

Jurojin says it is cooperating with Wolf and has shared detailed logs with authorities, apologizing to users while pledging improved security going forward.
