Casino Barcelona, long known as the venue for the PokerStars European Poker Tour’s Barcelona festival, is preparing to welcome a different kind of tournament series this month. From September 14-20, the venue will host the EuroPoker Circuit, marking the tour’s first visit to Spain.

The EuroPoker Circuit was launched in 2026 by Texapoker and Winamax, and has already run successful stops in France and Italy. The Barcelona leg represents its seventh event of the year and its first in Spanish territory.

Unlike the high-roller EPT events typically associated with the venue, EuroPoker Circuit tournaments in Barcelona are priced between €100 and €250, making them accessible to a broader range of players. The schedule includes a €250 Mystery Bounty and a €250 Main Event running September 17-20.

Players eliminated early will have other options, including daily €100 No-Limit Hold’em tournaments and several €150 Deepstack NLHE events throughout the week.

The tour’s momentum has been building. Its most recent Main Event, held in July at Casino Partouche de Pornic, drew a record 465 entrants, generating a €93,744 prize pool shared among the top 63 finishers. Thierry Piveteau of New Caledonia won that event for €16,000, with a final table spot guaranteeing at least €1,600.

Following the Barcelona stop, the EuroPoker Circuit will head to Paris from September 29 to October 4, before concluding the year with two additional legs, one of which returns to Spain, with the tour wrapping up in Portugal.
