Bryn Kenney, poker’s all-time leading tournament money winner, has filed a civil lawsuit against NSUS Group Inc., the parent company of GGPoker, and its chief executive Mansoo “Michael” Kim. The suit was lodged in Clark County District Court in Nevada in August over a dispute tied to an alleged ownership stake agreement.

According to the complaint, Kenney struck a deal with Kim and NSUS back in 2018, when GGPoker was still a fledgling operation and years before Daniel Negreanu became its public face. Kenney claims he was promised weekly revenue-based commissions on players he recruited, as well as a 5% equity stake in the company.

In exchange, Kenney says he served as GGPoker’s ambassador, de facto head of game management, and lead recruiter of players and agents, helping build the platform’s high roller tournament structure from the ground up.

The lawsuit alleges that despite his contributions through 2025, GGPoker’s leadership eventually reclassified the players and agents he brought in, effectively wiping out his commission earnings and withholding the promised equity.

Kim filed a motion in September seeking dismissal of the case, including a request to drop the fraud allegation specifically against him “with prejudice.” In his filing, Kim argued that Kenney’s fraud claim relies on an unattributed assurance that even Kenney reportedly doubted at the time.

Both the lawsuit and the dismissal request remain pending, with the next hearing scheduled for November 12. Kenney holds $90.8 million in live tournament cashes, roughly $11 million ahead of second-place Stephen Chidwick.
