The final episode of 888poker’s WSOP documentary series, titled “The Deepest WSOP Main Event Run of My Life,” follows Aaron Barone’s continued progress in the 2026 WSOP Main Event after he emerged as the last remaining member of the 888poker Team following Day 4.
Barone returned to Day 5 with 785,000 chips, sitting in 300th place among 533 remaining players. Despite the pressure of the tournament’s later stages, he described feeling more relaxed than at any other point in the event. That composure paid off, as a well-timed call with a seven-high flush helped him double up before the dinner break, pushing his stack to 1,300,000.
His momentum continued when his ace-queen flopped two pair against an opponent’s pocket jacks, boosting his stack to 2,600,000. Barone ended Day 5 with 1,880,000 chips, or 24 big blinds, marking his deepest WSOP Main Event run to date.
Day 6 began well for Barone, who won a crucial all-in pot with ace-king against pocket jacks after rivering a full house. That hand, combined with smaller gains, lifted his stack to 3,600,000 with 114 players left.
After the dinner break, Barone was moved to the featured table, seated between Shaun Deeb and 2019 champion Hossein Ensan. His tournament ended there when his king-queen lost an all-in confrontation against Maxime Chilaud’s ace-ten, which held with an ace on board.
Barone finished in 65th place for $125,000, calling the exit disappointing but acknowledging it as his best WSOP result yet. He said he plans to return for the 2027 WSOP Main Event, hoping to advance even further.
