Here is the eagerly awaited official schedule for the Solverde Poker Season 2023. The circuit this season will have 7 events and will kick off on February 9th in Espinho.

The significant novelty this season is the reduction of the buy-in, both for the regular stages and for the Main Event. In the regular stages, which in 2022 had a buy-in of €400, the buy-in this year will be reduced to €300. Meanwhile, the Main Event will have a buy-in of €500, down from €700 last year.

The season will start, fittingly, in Espinho. The casino, which is the home and birthplace of national poker, will host the first stage from February 9th to 12th. The Casino de Espinho will also be the venue for the 4th stage and the Main Event.

The Hotel Casino de Chaves will host two stages: the 2nd one in early March and the 5th one in October. Heading south, the Solverde Poker Season 2023 will visit the Casino de Vilamoura in April (3rd stage), and the Hotel Algarve Casino will be the venue for the 6th stage (November).

With the new buy-in, participants in the regular stages will encounter the following structure:

– Buy-in – €300 (Xtrastack of €20)
– Initial Stack – 30,000 chips (Xtrastack of 10,000)
– Level Duration – 30 minutes on Day 1 and 45 minutes on subsequent days

For the Main Event, with a €500 buy-in, the structure will be as follows:

– Buy-in – €500 (Xtrastack of €20)
– Initial Stack – 40,000 chips (Xtrastack of 10,000)
– Level Duration – 45 minutes on Day 1 and 60 minutes on subsequent days

Continuing what has been the norm in recent seasons, the funds raised from the Xtrastacks will be used to reward the leaders at the end of each Day 1 with an entry to the next stage of the Solverde Poker Season circuit. This offer also extends to the player who finishes on the tournament bubble. The remaining Xtrastack funds will be added to the prize pool.
